The Sounds of Taraab will bring their East African performance to the Shrine on May 2nd.
Come on up to Harlem's #1 African/World Music club and check out New York's #1 taraab ensemble, presenting the music and dance of Africa's eastern coast.
Taraab music is a hybrid of Arabic, Indian and African musical styles, the songs sung in Swahili. We got some great dancing for ya' ll, too!
