Special purpose vehicles utilize vendors for day to day activities and reporting including, investment manager services, custodial services and administrator services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Monitor multiple administrator activities over large portfolios of various financial instruments including mortgage backed securities, commercial loans, residential loans, swaps, hedges, and other related products;
* Prepare dashboard and regular financial reporting for the activities of the SPVs responsible for;
* Perform daily accounting activities for financial instruments specified above; includes reconciliation and posting of general ledger activity;
* Perform quarterly review of administrator reporting packet(s) and make necessary adjustments;
* Prepare quarterly written narrative of key changes in portfolio for inclusion in the Bank’s quarterly financial statements;
* Responsible for the preparation of annual financial statements for LLC, including all related footnote disclosures;
* Assist with communication of accounting issues and administrator performance with interested parties including the Investment Support Office/Investment Committee, and FRBNY Corporate Accounting Staff;
Qualifications
* Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, with a minimum of 4-6 years of accounting or audit experience, preferably some of it in Public Accounting;
* CPA or Masters in Accounting, or Finance highly desirable;
