We’re looking for teachers, tutors and articulate people who can give part or full-time lessons in Greater New York City or anywhere within area codes 212, 347, 516, 631, 646, 718, 845, 914 and 917.

Before you dismiss us as just another tutoring service, there are five important things you should know about us: <br>
1. Whenever one of our tutors gives a lesson, the family pays the tutor the full fee due for that lesson when it concludes. On the last day of the month, the tutor, without leaving his home, uses Paypal ( www.paypal.com ) to send us the portion of the fee due us. This means you’d never have to wait to receive your earnings; you are paid in full right away when you do the work. <br>
2. All lessons are scheduled according to the preferences of the tutor and the family. After we tell a tutor about a new student, he calls up the family to discuss the problems which need to be solved. If he wants to come at 10:00 PM Wednesday or at 9:00AM Sunday, and the family agrees with the selection, then it’s always OK with us. 3. Private tutoring is very different than classroom instruction. The only requirements for successfully tutoring are: knowing the course, clearly and articulately explaining it to the student and ending up with a student fully able to manage the course on his own. 4. The hardest part of running a tutoring service is finding enough students to tutor. Our tutors earn between $20 and $45 per hour depending upon the student’s subject and location. We’re looking for Student Coordinators in each of the following 22 regions: North Brooklyn, South Brooklyn, East Manhattan, West Manhattan, Northeast Queens, Northwest Queens, South Queens, Staten Island, East Bronx, West Bronx, North Nassau, South Nassau, East Suffolk, West Suffolk, Lower Westchester, Upper Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Rockland, Orange, Ulster and Sullivan. We plan to employ a total of 22 Student Coordinators, one for each region indicated above.

We’ll give top priority to mature candidates who drive, are retired, can perform all three tasks and intend to work with us for several years. However, if we’re unable to find a suitable single candidate in a particular location, we may consider splitting up the job and hiring two people (i.e., a Flyer Distributor and a Lesson Sign-Up Specialist) instead of one to do the three tasks done by a Student Coordinator.
