SQL Developers (All Levels)
LCG LewisCo Group is looking for multiple SQL Developers of all skills levels in their Albany, New York and Arlington, Virginia locations to perform in a results-driven, team-based environment.
Position Responsibilities:
Level I (2-4 years experience):
* Code processes for taking in data feeds, data transformation and aggregation using SQL Server query language, DTS Packages, and SQL Server Procedures.
* Adhere to coding standards.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
* Must be highly organized and show great attention to detail
* Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential
Levels II and III (3-7+ years of experience):
* Assist in writing functional and technical design/architecture documents.
* Ability to communicate effectively with business analysts/customers in requirements gathering and functional design sessions.
* Provide mentoring to junior programmers.
Our ideal developers will come in many shapes and forms, but will have at least a subset of the following skills:
* Significant SQL Server experience
* Query Tuning/Optimization
* Advanced SQL Query Writing
Additionally, any experience with the following would be outstanding:
* DTS Package development
* SQL Server 2000
* Cold Fusion experience
* Data Warehousing, ETL Tool, Data Conversion
* ActiveX
* Command Line Batch utilities
* PGP/file encryption
* FTP
* Zip/compression utilities
