This is an unusual exhibit. The exhibit is made of people who decided to send thier bodies to be used for science when they die. I went there today (Monday, January 31, 2006) that show amazed me beyond words. I got to touch and hold a human brain, heart, lungs liver, kidney, and any other organ you could think of. I got to look at the Central Nervous system that was extracted from a person, including eyes and brain. There was also an exhibit on pregnancy with real fetus's and embryos, also a moher with a 24month old infant inside her womb. This was especially fascinating since my siseter (shes 22) is preganant and is expected to give birth march 3. I also looked at the artery and vein systems, there werre body parts and also a full body of nothing but arterys and veins. It was absolutely spectatular. I HIGHLY reccomend this to any one even if you arent interested in science. ALL the pieces in the exhibit are from REAL people who died of natural causes or disease, none were the cause of murder, the fetus's are from miscarages and premature births, the pregnant woman with the child in the womb died with the unborn child still in her. ALL people here CHOSE to give their bodies to science, all except the fetus's and babies, they had no say in the matter because they couldnt speak.
