Fatal Fury 2 is a slight improvement over the first game with more characters, better special attacks, and fresh graphics. The game still plays a little slow, and lacks a little in the fighting engine. I don't remember much from Fatal Fury 2 since I never really got the chance to play it in the Arcade or on consoles. Very few little people owned this series and it was hard to get a hold of it since it became rare. I think that Fatal Fury 2 for the Super nintendo did have a small impact on the fighting game scene during the 90's. Its just that people were focused more on Street Fighter II or Mortal Kombat that Fatal Fury never got the chance to improve. I don't know much about the 3rd installment. All I know is Fatal Fury turned out to be a little weak, SNK kept trying to rush the series just so they could keep up with other fighting games. - Vincent , posted 11/16/06 |
