 My wife is the vegan, I'm a hopeless carnivore. Yet, Red Bamboo is a mutual favorite -- I heartily recommend their "Creole Soul Chicken" -- "Panko breaded seasoned soy chicken served with sweet corn mashed potatoes, steamed baby carrots, zucchini and our classic mushroom gravy." One of the best vegetarian restaurants in New York City. Try the Citrus "Beef" with Asparagus or the "Chicken" Parmesan, and you won't be disappointed. Be prepared for a wait during the dinner hours, especially on the weekend (it's worth it though!) - Kiley , posted 09/15/05 |
