You can nosh all day and otherwise be left alone. Great place to work, great music, only drawback is early in the a.m. when many moms bring babies in -- but maybe you like that. :) - Amy , posted 04/11/05 |

A warm, roomy, wi-fi-coming-soon, blog-your-brains-out cafe that just opened in the West Village. (And, yeah, we'll say it: It's nice.) Owner Mike Walter (of Elbow Room fame) and designer Louis Delgado know how to tend to the details. The steel, exposed-brick, and wood space is cute but not cutesy. The crowd is relaxed but not ho-hum. There's a large back room where you can perch while you eat Deborah's (Mrs. Mike's) special granola muffins, vegan Philly cheesesteaks, and one-of-a-kind marshmallows. - Rich , posted 01/02/05 |
