A Gala Inauguration Party!
Just wanted to say that the party was great, thanks to all the fabulous peeps who turned out for the Barack Obama Inauguration party last night at the "Leopard Lounge" [5th St & 2nd Ave] in Manhattan.

You crammed the place! The people have spoken! Sounds of Taraab loves you, you all are the ones who inspire us, reminding us that there are folks out there who believe in REAL music played by REAL musicans. You chose a Real leader in Washington, and you're choosing real musicians to be the new sound in Mideast music in NY. ..Taraab from East Africa, like Barack Obama's father is from east Africa.

Wasn't Haig's taqsims to die for? Oh yeah, he's a REAL oud player, in fact an Ustad...a master.

Kudos to all you wild dancers out there too! Too bad I don't have a budget to hire all you wonderful fans, I'll take ya's on the road with us. But come to our shows and oparty with us, we'll have more fun coming soon, I promise.
