SUNDAY MARCH 6 2005 LIVE @ SHOUT! THE STANDS (www.the-stands.com/usa) From Liverpool, England The latest export from Liverpool and one of Noel Gallagher's current faves (say what you will, he's got a good track record for picking winners), THE STANDS have emerged from the same scene that produced THE CORAL and THE ZUTONS. Their music takes the best from Dylan, The Byrds, and The Beatles in a combination that hasn't sounded this fresh since THE LA's. They're doing a few shows and it's their first time in the states (they broke a lot of hearts a few months ago when they had to cancel some local shows), so this show is bound to be memorable.
